Product description
— Show original The wonderfully thick luxury yarn Nepal is 35% superfine alpaca and 65% Peruvian Highland wool. Alpaca gives the yarn softness, and wool brings more durability and stability. The yarn is untreated, meaning it has not undergone any chemical treatment before dyeing. This gives the best properties of the fiber and gives the yarn a better shape and texture.
The yarn is 3-threaded and this makes the knit surface exciting and rustic. DROPS Nepal is an easy to knit and crochet yarn that is well suited for felting. After felting, the surface of the garment is smooth and soft. There are also multi-colored mix versions of DROPS Nepal in which the yarn colors are carded together before spinning for a varied finish.
Material: 65% wool, 35% alpaca
Bulk / flowability: 50 g = approx. 75 m
Needles: 5 mm
Knitting density: 10 x 10 cm = 17 sts 22 rows
Thread group: C (16 to 19 stitches) / 10 ply / aran / worsted
Care instructions: hand wash, max 30 ° C. Flat drying. Can be felted.

I soaked the products in a very mild wool detergent and placed the mittens and the inner palms of the elderly on a tray in their mold.
After drying, they looked almost flawless: D The threads and flared loops were well leveled.
The Latvian braid also bends from this thread!
