DROPS Nepal is a chunky and pleasantly soft luxury yarn that combines the softness of alpaca with the durability of wool. It is perfect for knitting and crocheting where you want a natural and slightly lively finish.
The yarn is 3-ply, which gives the surface a rustic and interesting look. It is easy to work with and also works particularly well in felting, resulting in a dense and soft finish.
Both solid and melange shades are available, where the colors are combined into a vibrant whole before spinning.
Material: 65% wool, 35% alpaca
Ball/flow rate: 50 g = approx. 75 m
Needles: 5 mm
Knitting density: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn group: C (16–19 stitches) / 10 ply / aran / worsted
Care instructions: hand wash max 30 °C, dry flat, can be felted

— Show originalHi. I knitted a short skirt from brown Nepal yarn. I looked at the felting instructions for Nepal yarn on your website. I believed the instructions and did exactly as it said. But OOPS, it felted so small and thick that it couldn't fit anyone in our group. In addition, the washing machine got clogged and wouldn't drain the water the next time it was washed. I've felted in the machine before and succeeded. But I still had a good laugh about this little thing on Christmas Eve.Hey, thanks for the feedback. Can you clarify where you got this felting instruction from so we can check if there is any incorrect information in it…
