Product description
— Show original Light and airy alpaca blend yarn for soft knits
DROPS Air is an exceptionally light and soft yarn that combines baby alpaca and merino wool. Its structure is created by blowing the fibers into a tubular yarn, which makes the knit noticeably lighter than with traditionally spun yarns.
The yarn feels pleasant against the skin and is great for accessories, scarves, sweaters and jackets. It also works great in cable and raised knitting, where a soft and airy result is desired.
Air is also a good choice for those with sensitive skin, as it usually doesn't feel itchy when used.
Material: 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool
Ball/flow rate: 50 g = approx. 150 m
Needles: 5 mm
Knitting density: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn group: C (16–19 stitches) / 10 ply / aran / worsted
Care instructions: hand wash max 30 °C, dry flat, can be felted
