DROPS Lima

DROPS Lima is a 4-strand sports yarn which is the successor to the very popular Drops Nepal yarn. The yarn is 65% wool and 35% superfine alpaca. The yarn is untreated, meaning it has not undergone any chemical treatment before dyeing. This gives the best properties of the fiber and gives the yarn a better shape and texture.

Lima yarn is quite suitable, for example, for traditional Norwegian sweaters and sports knitwear, which are slightly stronger and more durable in shape. An alpaca has been added to the durable yarn, which makes the knit wonderfully soft and comfortable. That is, it is a slightly more luxurious sports yarn. There are also multi-colored mix versions of DROPS Lima in which the colors of the yarn are carded together before spinning for a variegated finish.
