DROPS Lima is a 4-ply sports yarn that combines the durability of wool with the softness of alpaca. It is the successor to DROPS Nepal and is known for its balanced feel and versatility.
The yarn is great for traditional knits, such as Norwegian sweaters, and other garments that require a slightly more structured shape. Thanks to the alpaca, the end result is still soft and pleasant against the skin.
There are also melange shades available, where the colors are combined before spinning to create a vibrant and slightly mottled surface. The yarn works well in both plain and patterned knits.
Material: 65% wool, 35% alpaca
Ball/flow rate: 50 g = approx. 100 m
Needles: 4 mm
Knitting density: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn group: B (20–22 stitches) / 8 ply / DK / worsted
Care instructions: hand wash max 30 °C, dry flat, can be felted
