DROPS Andes

DROPS Andes is a 2-strand traditional blend with 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca. Thanks to this combination, the knitting surface becomes silky soft. Wool gives the knit strength. The yarn is untreated, meaning it has not undergone any chemical treatment before dyeing. This gives the best properties of the fiber and gives the yarn a better shape and texture. DROPS Andes is also available in different colors. The colors of the multicolored yarn are carded together before spinning, making the yarn variegated.

DROPS Andes is an easy to knit and is worked and worked with thick needles and hooks. Sweaters can also be felted. DROPS Andes is well suited for winter knitwear, accessories and interior knitting such as blankets. Andes yarn is also suitable for the more sensitive skin as a substitute for Alafoslop in Icelandic knits.
