Álafosslopi is Lettlop's sturdier sister — thick, coarse, and made to withstand Icelandic winters. The thickness means that the work progresses quickly: a patterned sweater or warm beanie can be finished in a fraction of the time compared to thinner yarns.
A traditional choice for Icelandic lopapeysa knits, but works equally well for felted slippers and mittens. Durable and long-lasting — many of our customers have knitted several garments in the same color.
Material: 100% Icelandic wool
Ball: 100 g / approx. 100 m
Needles: 6–6.5 mm
Care instructions: ventilation is preferred, hand wash at 30°C if necessary
