Léttlopi is a very popular Icelandic 100% wool yarn. Lèttlopin can be recognized by its distinctive somewhat coarse and natural feel, which character is not quite achieved by other yarns. From Léttlop, you can knit the most wonderful Icelandic knitwear, which retain their unique characteristics year after year. A garment knitted from Lèttlop is not only light and breathable, but also very warm. A garment knitted from Lèttlop is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Léttlop is about half the thickness of Álafosslop.

Care instructions: In most cases, ventilation is sufficient for woolen clothing. If necessary, hand wash in lukewarm water (30°C). Soak the sweater for approx. 10 min and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Gently squeeze most of the water out of the garment. Gently shape the sweater to its dimensions and dry flat, do not hang.

Is there somehow a softer thread than before? The downside was that the yarn had thickness differences in several places. Sometimes thick and sometimes really thin.

After all, it's quite rough, but suitable enough that it doesn't get on the skin. I like knitting from Lettlop and the colors are beautiful. Several sweaters have already been made and are in use.

Pleasant to weave. Beautiful knitting pattern. Such a lovely selection of colors that it was hard to decide where to start weaving 😀 I was surprised by the lightness and warmth of the finished sweater.
