Feather-light Icelandic yarn for lace scarves and airy knits

Einband is the finest member of the Icelandic yarn family — a thin, lace-like wool yarn that creates light, translucent scarves and accessories. When new, the yarn feels a little rough, but softens after the first wash to a comfortable feel against the skin.

Despite its thinness, the yarn retains the best aspects of wool: it is surprisingly warm and adapts to a wide range of needle sizes from 2–6 mm, so it can be used to knit both airy lace and denser surfaces. It is also a popular choice as an additional yarn to strengthen thinner knits.

Care instructions: ventilation is preferred, hand wash at 30°C if necessary
