Finnish wool yarn that has never been chemically treated

Manta is a versatile Finnish wool yarn for everything from sweaters to mittens and scarves. The natural color of the yarn is completely undyed, and no mothproofing or other chemical treatments have been used in the production, so the wool's natural warmth and moisture absorption are preserved in the best possible way.

The yarn has been gently washed, so it still contains natural lanolin. It also works great as a substitute for Lettlop in Icelandic-style knits, and its felting properties are worth taking advantage of: it felts beautifully evenly and softly.
