— Show original If you are looking for a wonderfully soft and skin-friendly wool yarn, you will love DROPS Merino Extra Fine. The yarn is quite suitable for embossed, braided and beaded knits. Due to its properties, the yarn is also popular in knitwear for babies and children. The slightly captivating range of colors is wide, so everyone is sure to find their own favorite shades as well. DROPS Merino Extra Fine is available in both monochrome and multicolor, where the colors are carded together before spinning and the yarn is variegated.
DROPS Merino Extra Fine is spun from extra fine merino wool from South American animals. Several thin strands have been used to spin the yarn, which makes the structure a bit flexible. Due to its flexibility, it is advisable to knit the yarn a little tighter than normal. DROPS Merino Extra Fine is comfortable to knit and becomes extra smooth.
The yarn is Superwash-treated, but it is a good idea to follow the instructions below when washing:
Wash in lukewarm water, do not soak. Squeeze the extra water, for example, inside the towel, and then gently place the knit on its surface to dry. Be careful not to stretch the wet knit excessively.

Needles: 4 mm
Knitting density: 10 x 10 cm = 21 sts 28 rows
Thread group: B (20 to 22 stitches) / 8 ply / DK / worsted
