DROPS Soft Tweed

DROPS Soft Tweed is, as the name suggests, a soft tweed yarn. The yarn is made from merino wool, superfine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is created by carding these fibres together with small felted “tweed buttons”, which give the yarn small specks of colour. DROPS Soft Tweed is a carded yarn, which means it is lighter and more breathable than similar worsted yarns - this yarn is a great choice when knitting by hand.

This coarse and elegant yarn is easy to knit with and the stitches have a beautiful, lively surface. The yarn is very suitable for raised knits, vests, sweaters and jackets. DROPS Soft Tweed is suitable for patterns designed for DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima and DROPS Merino Extra Fine (Yarn Group B).
