In the first ball of yarn, the yarn loop “opened up”, it was difficult to get it on the needle. I bought 40 balls and this only happened with the first ball. I have now used 8 balls.

Beanies made quickly from familiar Drops yarns. Drops merino extra fine is wonderfully soft and not too warm for hot heads. The model Tristan is owned by Drops. Beanies look better on the head 😀

The first 2 balls had a knot in the thread and the threads next to the knot were missing from the thread. Next 3 ok. The yarn is otherwise lovely to knit and the pattern is easy to smooth.

Great bobbin thread, several already done. It was annoying to note that 2 tangles of the same color were eventually different shades. The monochrome beanie did not even become monochromatic and the difference in tangle change / tone is clearly noticeable. It was purple, royal purple.

All in all, a wonderful thread. I’ve knitted Merino extra finest baby overalls, shirts, pants, a suitcase for strollers and other smaller items. The yarn is smooth, soft and does not itch. Can be machine washed safely as instructed.
