DROPS Nord is a 4-ply sock yarn that combines the softness of alpaca, the warmth of wool and the durability of polyamide. It is great for socks and other everyday knits.
The yarn is easy to work with and creates a clean, even knit surface. It works well for sweaters, hats, gloves and other accessories that require both durability and comfort.
The color range includes both solid and melange shades, which are especially suitable for Nordic-style knits. The yarn's strength is comparable to many thin yarns, so it can be used in a variety of patterns.
Material: 45% alpaca, 30% polyamide, 25% wool
Ball/flow rate: 50 g = approx. 170 m
Needles: 3 mm
Knitting density: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn group: A (23–26 stitches) / 4 ply / fingering
Care instructions: hand wash max 30 °C, dry flat
