DROPS Alpaca is a lovely yarn spun in 100% superfine alpaca. The yarn is untreated, meaning it has not undergone any chemical treatment before dyeing. This gives the best properties of the fiber and gives the yarn a better shape and texture. The yarn has 3 strands and is spun particularly strong. The yarn is available in many different colors, both bright and subdued shades. The yarn is available in monochrome and color blends. The colors of the multicolored yarn are carded together before spinning, making the yarn variegated. Lots of wonderful patterns for DROPS Alpaca can be found in the Drops collection. The clothes knitted from this yarn become light and comfortable and they feel really soft even directly against the skin. The knit surface becomes nicely shiny.
