Mashdale – a rustic worsted yarn

Mashdale is a soft yet rustic-looking wool yarn, with a texture derived from its fiber blend. It consists of 75% white Corriedale wool and 25% naturally brown Masham wool. By leaving the Masham wool undyed while dyeing only the white Corriedale, a beautiful, lively interplay of color emerges on the yarn's surface—whether used for twisted cables, colorwork, or simple stockinette stitch.

Mashdale is worsted-spun at a long-established, family-owned mill where a passion for yarn and wool has been passed down through generations.

Mashdale is suitable for children's clothing, hats, and knitwear alike, and can be knitted either on its own or combined with other Filcolana yarn qualities.

The wool used in Mashdale is mulesing-free.
