This knitting book has its roots deep in the soil, in the enchanting wonder of growth, in the reward of harvest – in the garden life. The four designers in the book are not only experienced knitting professionals but also passionate green thumbs. Inspired by their gardening hobby, they created their own collections: a total of 20 knitting and crochet patterns celebrating the colorful splendor of nature were born. There are clothes and accessories for every season, as well as two patterns for children.

Visit the gardens of the four authors through the stories and images that emerge. Who has an urban little garden in London, who listens to birdsong in a steel mill village? What kind of life is lived in an allotment garden, how do you nurture a granny-philia with a modern twist?
