Are nature and wild animals close to your heart?

Korvenkulkija's wool knitwear is inspired by nature, animals, autumn colours, pastel-hued landscapes on a bitterly cold day and the crackle of a campfire, spiced with a touch of fables and mythology.

Henna Haapaniemi enjoys the forest and animals. She can often be found with her camera under the night sky photographing the northern lights and stars, or immersed in the pages of a book, somewhere in another world, except when the stories and images want to unfold as loops on a woolen knitted surface. That's when knitting patterns are created under the name Varjelum. This book is made from them.

The book contains instructions for 24 knitting patterns, including the Maan korvessa kulkevi sweater and the Hukan Hetki socks. There are sweater patterns for the whole family, starting from toddlers, and the adult patterns also have sizes for larger users. The sock patterns have two arm widths. Both beginners and experienced veterans will find something to suit their needs in the patterns.
