Villaunelmia

Mirja Heikkilä – Behind VillaUnelmia is me, an introverted woman who loves to do crafts, move in nature and is inspired by the beautiful things around me. I enjoy blooming gardens as much as forests and seaside cliffs. My VillaUnelmia knitting collection was also inspired by these.

The color choices in my designs are often soft and pastel, but the designs are also great for knitting with brighter yarns. The WoolDream Knitting Book has wonderful, easy-to-read instructions for making your knitting dreams come true. I have designed knitting instructions for Icelandic yarn, and there are knitting patterns for both adults and children.

The book contains easy and thoroughly tested instructions written in plain language that are fun to knit with. All sweaters are knitted from the bottom up, and there are instructions for yoke and raglan sleeves. The book contains instructions for beginners as well as slightly more advanced knitters.

This knitting book contains instructions for my popular knitting patterns Vanamo, Neili and Kanerva, as well as many other knits. You will also find instructions for the Hallapipoo and the warm felted Tuike mittens.
