Use rivet supports together with rivets.

When using staples for crochet or knit work, we recommend supporting the back of the staple with these or a small piece of fabric or other material. The staple support prevents the staple from slipping through the stitches. The package includes two different sizes of supports. If you knit or crochet very loosely, we recommend the larger staple support. For work that is crocheted or knitted very tightly, you can use the small support.

All Go Handmade backplates for screw rivets are compatible with screw rivets of the same brand, and their hole fits the standard size of 8.2 mm.
