Repair sewing is an easy way to extend the life of a garment. In particular, fabrics and favorite clothes made of high-quality materials should be saved for further use.

The book, which presents more than 50 wonderful stitch patterns, focuses on the visible surface repair of clothes: all the patterns are sewn on the upper side of the fabric to patch a torn or frayed part. The idea is to make repairs and patches so beautiful that there is no reason to hide them. On the contrary, the paring point of the sweater and the reinforcement places of the jeans are left well visible, so that the hand-made repair increases the character and personality of the garment.

Different style stitch patterns suitable for repair sewing are organized by difficulty level: from easier to more demanding stitches. Step-by-step instructions, clear diagrams and photos of finished models guide even beginners towards the desired end result.
