Sisko Sälpäkivi has designed and made various handicrafts almost all her life. The handicraft hobby of my youth has been refined into the profession of a knitwear designer at Novita Oy through studies in the field. Sweaters designed by Sisko have been published in Novita knitting magazine for more than 10 years and in addition to that also in other interesting collaborative publications.

With the abundant use of colors and her knits that combine interesting surfaces, Sisko wants to create enthusiasm for knitting and bring joy to knitters. Sisko's knitting patterns are suitable for knitters of different levels.

The instructions contain models for beginners who know the basics of knitting, as well as for the most demanding enthusiasts. Clear instruction texts, square drawings of knitwear and pictures of finished knitwear help the reader in making knitwear. The book contains twenty of Sisko's favorite knits and quilts in which she has used her favorite techniques and colors.

The techniques in the book are embroidery, log cabin piece, granny square, domino and zigzag. In addition to these, a striped cardigan made of coarse yarns.
