Knits and bits of life is a knitter's diary where you can write down your plans and jot down bits of your life.

Inside the covers of this book, you can now write down the technical data of the knits you have made (for example, yarn brands, color codes, needle sizes), plan and sew. The book also has space for everything, small and big, that is important, which happens in a certain period, just when the knitting is gradually completed.

In addition, the book also contains seven stories of warm-hearted knitters with a taste for life. All of them are different in their own way, as every walking path should be. However, there is a surprising amount of familiar and easily recognizable thoughts and feelings towards knitting.

The book was edited by class teacher and life coach Suvi Cederberg, who was fascinated by knitting as a child.

Suvi Cederberg, the editor of the book, forever a country person at heart, now a Helsinki-based class teacher and life coach, was already fascinated by knitting as a child. The hobby began to flourish again when life brought a phase where something grounding, calming was needed - to be present and stop for a moment. Soon we were in a situation where here and there we found small pieces of paper and notebooks with notes related to knitting. That's where the idea started: a book is needed that can contain all of this within one cover. And since, in addition to knitting, daily recording of events has always been important to Suvi, these themes were combined in this work into a natural weave.
