The authors of the book, Anni Laitinen and Jenni Vanhanen, have individually and together worked for Finnish wool for several years. Anni is a writer, photographer and typewriter who enjoys doing many things with her hands. Jenni is a textile artisan and handicraft entrepreneur who was chosen Artisan of the Year in 2019 and received the TAITO award in 2020. In the spring of 2021, Anni and Jenni founded the very popular Suomalainen villa website, which brings together wool knowledge and encourages the use of domestic yarns.
