Istex Jöklalopi

Istex Jöklalopi (formerly Bulkylopi) is a thick Icelandic wool yarn. Because the yarn is thick, it is at its best in simple knits. You can quickly knit a warm sweater with Jöklalopi on large needles, which will survive even the coldest weather! The yarn is also well suited for felting or, for example, for cushion covers that exude an earthy atmosphere.

The color scheme of Jöklalop is natural. Icelandic wool is coarser and rougher than merino wool, but softens and becomes somewhat more flexible with use. Knitwear made from Jöklalop has top-class properties; they breathe, warm and stay dry even in humid weather.

Knitwear maintenance:
Ventilation. Remove stain immediately locally.
For washing, use lukewarm water and wool detergent, and treat the knitwear in the water by gently squeezing and pressing. Wrap the wet knitwear in a terry towel, squeeze out excess water with the towel. Flat dry.
