— Show original Soft and fluffy merino wool yarn for raised knits
DROPS Big Merino is a yarn spun from extra fine merino wool, the successor to DROPS Merino Extra Fine. It feels soft and pleasant against the skin, and is especially suitable for eye-catching knits.
The yarn is stretchy and even, so it works well in raised knits and cable knits, where the clarity of the stitches comes through. The end result is neat and tidy, but still fluffy and comfortable to wear.
The Superwash treatment makes the yarn machine washable, but proper care is important to maintain the shape of the knitwear. Avoid using too hot water or soaking, and dry the knitwear flat.
Material: 100% wool (mulesing free)
Ball/flow rate: 50 g = approx. 75 m
Needles: 5 mm
Knitting density: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn group: C (16–19 stitches) / 10 ply / aran / worsted
Care instructions: delicate wash or wool program 40 °C, no fabric softener, flat drying
